Public Service Announcement

Hello everyone-- this is Jackson-- He's a BOY!!! Why does every stranger come up to your child and say "Oh-- she's so cute!" This might slide if you have children that are closer in age than Austin and Jackson, but not with Mr. Correct All That Is Wrong around. Every time someone stops us to talk to Jackson, 9 out of 10 people mistake him for a girl. Austin is right there to not so politely say "He's a BOY!" They then trip over themselves to say "well he's just so cute" Yes-- I think he's cute too, but he is not wearing a bow or a dress, or pink, we even steer away from yellow. The latest installment of his mistaken identity he was wearing a blue polo with a blue jacket with dogs all over it, a paci clip that says "Little Tiger" Now, I know that sometimes I ask for it because I do dress him like a boy who has been raised in the south. He does wear smocked outfits to Church but again, they are Jon Jon's not dresses!

So, next time you stop someone in a store to admire their little one-- unless it is PAINFULLY obvious whether they are a boy or a girl-- just say what a beautiful child they have instead of mistaking them for a boy or a girl.

That is all

  1. That's too funny! I already got this with Luke the other day--he was in his carrier with a blue blanket around him that had "Luke" embroidered on it! Go figure!
