BOO--

Well, I do not have any new pictures to post today but thought I would let you know that we are getting ready for Halloween! Jackson already has some absolutely adorable bibs from Andrea for the upcoming holiday season and also has a new treat bag on it's way from her as well. We all went to Huntsville tonight to find the costumes. Austin is still in the throws of his Star Wars obsession and he decided last Halloween that "the new baby would be Yoda next year for Halloween". He did not care if the baby was a boy or a girl-- it was going to be Yoda! Well so much for my cute little pumpkin costume for his first Halloween. Jackson is going to be Yoda. We found his costume tonight and I have to admit-- he's going to be pretty cute. We are sill in search of Captain Rex. They did not have Austin's size... so much for shopping early! Keep an eye out for the little Jedi Master soon. I plan on taking both boys to have their picture made together in their costumes. They should be pretty cute. Also, hope you like the new look of the blog. I don't know about you but the colors on the other one made my eyes go wacky!

LUNCH!!!!

Is that not the sweetest face!! He is getting such a little personality. Today when he was sitting down for lunch he was getting sooo excited. He loves to eat...I know that is hard to tell by looking at him. Poor thing, he's just withering away! HA-- Anyway, he is sitting up better in his chair and rolling over from his back to his tummy. As soon as you sit him down it is like you laid him on a tack, he immediately rolls to his tummy. Then he realizes that was not what he really wanted to do and gets mad-- really mad. That is something else he has learned to do-- pitch a fit!! Well... enjoy the pictures!

Keepin' Clean

After back breaking baths in Austin's tub hunched over on the hard tile floor Scott looked at me and said..."Why don't you put him in the laundry room sink? You could just stand there.. I think it would be a lot easier" Now why didn't I think of that!!! Jackson tried it out and had a ball! He kicked those little feet just like always... those feet are always kicking...when he's talking...when he is playing...even when he is trying to go to sleep... kick, kick, kick! Jackson may take a bath in the laundry room until he is 5 and he can take a shower by himself!

Austin enjoyed a little fishing at his "Hooked on Scouting" event at Joe Wheeler this weekend. Jackson and I joined in the fun but spent most of the day in the car. The wind from Ike had arrived so we hung out in the car. It was a little windy for little boys. Austin caught two fish and was so excited! We left a little early and grabbed lunch on our own. Aunt Leisa and Uncle Rick came over later and we watched the Auburn game. We are 3-0 -- Barely!!

Five Months Old Today

Well... I had intentions of taking a cute picture this morning and posting them of the big 5 month old, but he woke up not feeling well. I don't know if it is his teeth or if we are coming down with a cold but we may go to visit Dr. Parmer today and get a little check up to be on the safe side. He is already taking a nap this morning so we'll have to see how he feels when he wakes up.

Swimmin' In The BIG Tub

Last night we decided to put Jackson in the Big Tub!!! He was to big for the little tub that sits on the counter. He still can't really sit on his own so I had to keep a hand on him but he had a blast! You should have seen his little feet splashing in the water. You know how his feet kick -- all the time -- it was not any different in the tub. Austin sat and watched and talked to him and showed him how to splash. He really likes his baths so I think he is going to really enjoy being in the big tub.

The Paci's are MINE!!

This is how I found Jackson when he woke up from his nap today. He had both paci's under his little arms holding on to them as if to say "Don't even think about getting may Pacis!!" Anyway-- I just thought it was pretty cute so I snapped a picture for all to see. Have a great day!

Happy Grandparents Day

Mamma and Pappa came to have lunch with Austin today to celebrate Grandparents Day. They ate lunch and then headed back home and Austin was headed back to class. It was a quick visit but I think everyone had a good time.

Sweet Sleeping Babies

They are sweet little angels! Jackson was laying there in his bed with his little hands folded under his sweet little head. Sleeping so soundly-- I took these pictures of both of them in the dark and neither one if them moved a muscle. We have always been amazed by how well Austin sleeps-- We have literally picked him up in the middle of the night to take him downstairs in a storm and he slept the entire time. Jackson is following in his footsteps. Like a rock! We count our blessing every night for peaceful sleep.

A Little Shopping Advice...

OK-- you all know how much I love to shop. I get it honestly-- thank you Mom!! But I just wanted to share with you a girl who I found on E-bay originally. She now sells all of her wonderful things on her Blog and she does absolutely beautiful work. Many of you have seen the adorable bibs and burp cloths that I have had made for Jackson-- this is where they come from. ABC Custom Designs . Her name is Andrea and she is so sweet and easy to work with. She has made several things for me and has even done things on special request. She is a kindergarten teacher and does this on the side. She also has non-baby related items: Pillow cases, tumblers and travel mugs, bags, photo albums, luggage tags-- you name it and she probably does it. Anyway-- just wanted to share this with you. She has posted a lot of cute ideas for Christmas gifts on her site-- check it out. Like I said it's not all baby stuff so you might just find what you are looking for! Check it out www.abccustomdesigns.blogspot.com

Labor-- I don't think so!

Labor-- yeah right! We spent the day just hanging out. Uncle Rick and Papa grilled out lunch-- ribs and chicken-- Yum! We all ate a big lunch and just enjoyed the afternoon. Austin perched himself on the couch and played on Kerri's computer and Jackson hung out with Kerri and Rachel. Everyone just enjoyed a lazy day. We headed back North around 4 o'clock and Austin asked when we were coming back several times. I think he is already learning the phrase from the Auburn Creed "I believe in Auburn and I love it!" He had a really good weekend.
